This position works closely with Fleet Services team as well as Terminal Operations and is responsible for the daily operation and administration of the Fleet Services functions in our Moose Jaw Terminal. The successful applicant should possess mechanical knowledge of highway tractors and trailers to effectively plan the workload of the shop smoothly and timely.

**The POSITION and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Planning, organizing, and scheduling all aspects of maintenance including regular preventative maintenance.
- Responsible to coordinate and actively communicate with Shop Manager and Terminal Operations to ensure timely repairs that follow preventative maintenance expectations
- Monitor shop supply levels and order, receive, track, and maintain parts inventory control system through our Fleet Services maintenance system, TMT
- Involved in maintenance and general up-keep of the facilities and applicable properties
- Responsible to ensure Health and Safety standards adhered to in order to maintain a safe and productive workplace
- Generate warranty claims to recover costs for repairs and follow-up on warranty items and core credits
- Data enter employee time cards as well as accounts payable invoices into TMT
- Generate and file vendor work orders for outside repairs and regularly audit completed repairs to ensure quality maintenance consistent with our company standards
- Monitor estimates and repairs for potential re-work or warranty coverages
- Manage consignment inventories both current and future

**The INDIVIDUAL and QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- An understanding of maintenance programs to effectively plan and coordinate maintenance equipment
- Basic understanding of standard repair times within maintenance industry
- Well organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and confident with a roll up your sleeves attitude towards work
- Being innovative and open minded to new philosophies and ideas to improve any processes necessary to make the maintenance as effective and efficient as possible
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful composure in challenging situations
- Excellent internal and external customer service skill with ability to clearly communicate
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office products
- A solid business presence complimented by personal drive, resourcefulness, maturity, integrity, honesty, and sound business judgement
