Fluxwerx Illumination Inc. is a leading innovator in an industry experiencing unprecedented growth. From our local facility in Port Kells, Surrey, we design, manufacture, and market architectural LED lighting products. As an integral part of our Assembly team, you support our innovate product development by completing final assembly of our award-winning LED light fixtures.

As a final assembler, you will be trained on multiple product families and will learn how to build, test, and package product in a warehouse setting. This is a full-time permanent position in a stable and growing organization. Our facility is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

As an assembler, you will:

- Use small hand-tools (screwdriver, drill, etc.) to carefully assemble a variety of LED light fixtures
- Show a high degree of attention to detail and keep an eye out for quality issues or defects
- Communicate with your team lead and learn new skills including different assembly processes and procedures
- Keep a clean work area using 5S techniques
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace
- Perform other tasks as directed
- Pack finished light fixtures into boxes and prepare for the shipping team

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of small hand tools
- Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the day
- The ability to read and understand assembly instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fluent in written & spoken English
- A desire to learn new skills and flexibility to grow in the position
- A minimum of 1 year in a skilled production environment or experience working with hand tools
