**Responsibilities**:

- Full Time in house video editor
- Edit video footage and create compelling and engaging videos
- Collaborate with our small creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
- Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the video
- Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and is delivered on time. - Understand export settings for each platform. - Manage Data in an effective and organized way in our NAS
- Upload content to our video sharing platform for client review (Ftrack)

**Experience**:

- Proficient in using video editing software, specifically Adobe Suite which includes Premiere, and Adobe After Effects as well as some understanding of Photoshop, Lightroom etc.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques and principles
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

If you are a creative individual with a passion for storytelling through video editing, we want to hear from you. Our main need for a video editor is to service our retainer model clients that we service on a monthly basis. Each client number of videos vary but a videographer will capture all the interviews and b-roll needed, and then your job is to turn them into something magical We have long form, shorter form and micro videos that need to go out monthly for these clients. Along with those projects we have short films, documentaries and other videos that we will want this editor role to be a part of. There will be the opportunity to come out on some of the shoots and be a camera operator too _**but this job is mostly an in office, full time editing position. **_If sitting in an office most of the day, editing videos doesn't seem like your cup of tea, no worries, however we do want to be upfront about that If you like stability in knowing what you will be doing every day, this job could be the right fit for you

**This is not a teaching position. Please do not inquire if you do not already have editing experience. We are happy to teach our style, brand and other editing techniques we use to help you grow in your editing journey. Although I can appreciate the willingness to want to learn a new skill, we do not have the time to teach someone from ground zero on how to edit videos. If you do not have any experience in editing videos, please do not apply.**

**Salary**: $34,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
