The DoubleTree by Hilton London is located in the heart of downtown London. This hotel is connected by a skywalk to the RBC place and is within a ten-minute walk away from the Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens The hotel has 323 rooms and suites, an onsite restaurant, a Starbucks, and 34,000 square feet in banquet and meeting spaces. This full-service hotel also offers a well-equipped fitness centre and pool and a fully equipped business centre.

Wash and clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silverware and kitchen equipment and tools. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas and receiving area. Ensure set-up, service and close of the staff cafeteria, where applicable.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and receiving area.

2. Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.

3. Wash and clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silverware and kitchen equipment and tools

4. Empty and clean trashcans.

5. Thoroughly clean receiving area and dumpster.

6. Disassemble dish machine and clean inside and outside.

7. Clean all kitchen tables.

8. Clean tile walls and baseboards.

9. Prepare and set-up staff meal, ensuring to maintain and serve food at the correct temperature.

10. Ensure attractive presentation of buffet and menu items as applicable and serve menu items observing portion control.

11. Courteously ensure clearing of tables by each employee with proper stacking of items to minimize breakage and alerting the supervisor on duty to excessive breakage issues.

12. Return unused food to the kitchen ensuring disposal or storage of items as instructed and in accordance with safe food handling and storage practices.

13.Perform wash-up for the staff cafeteria.

14.Ensure wiping down of tables, disposing of garbage and completion of cleaning and closedown duties relating to the staff cafeteria.

**15. **Perform instructed duties in the main kitchen.

**16. **Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

17. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

2. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

3. Must have the ability to communicate in English.

4. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.

5. Customer service skills
