**The Opportunity**:
This position supports, governs, and optimizes the Western terminals by implementing asset integrity programs, maintenance, and capital projects in accordance with safe work practices, environmental compliance, prescribed Company standards, and within budget requirements. Liaises with customers, authorities, consultants, contractors, and the industry on technical and engineering matters; and ensures the highest level of safety, quality and efficiency is maintained.

This position will have technical responsibility and oversight of the liquid terminals in BC and Alberta (Port Hardy, Hatch Point, Burnaby, and Bowden) and the two US propane terminal in Owen, ND and Hankinson, WI.

This position will work closely with the Eastern Terminals Engineering and Asset Integrity teams along with the Terminal Managers and Commercial teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the planning and execution of the Western Terminals Capital budget. Maintain and update the 10-year capital plan. ($10 - $20 Million)
- Provide technical support to the Western Terminals Operations team related to planned and unplanned maintenance as well as long term maintenance strategy and procedure development.
- Support the development and execution of the Western Terminals asset integrity programs, strategies, and management systems.
- Create a project execution plan for upcoming major Terminal projects as per 10-year capital plan.
- Support supply chain strategies to determine procurement synergies in terminals across Canada.

**Requirements**:

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas Refining and/or Terminal engineering, design, asset integrity and maintenance practices.
- Registered professional engineer within BC and/or Alberta.
- Oil and Gas experience in capital planning, execution, and project management.
- Oil and Gas experience in maintenance, reliability planning and field execution.
- Asset Strategy development and program implementation.
- Experienced BOLD leader - able to drive change thorough an influence model.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Clear technical communications to broad stakeholder groups.
- Experience leading people and influencing culture.
- French/English Bilingualism is an asset.
