**Heavy Equipment Operator (Water & Sewer)**

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to work on underground / water & sewer projects located in Saskatoon. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training and a company matching RRSP program.

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Installation of underground utilities in close proximity to existing utilities and in existing residential / commercial areas
- Adherence to legislation for excavation and trenching requirements
- Lower materials to pipe crews using proper rigging mechanisms and procedures
- Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
- Ensure work is always done safely, to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program
- Daily equipment inspections and maintenance
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity

**Required Skills**:

- 3+ years of experience as a Dozer Operator
- Underground utility experience is an asset
- Exceptionally safety conscious
- Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foreman
- Ability to operate other equipment is an asset
- Strong communication skills

**Required Certifications**:

- Ground Disturbance Level 2
