**Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
- Perform tasks such as flooring installation, concrete forming, and caulking.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for various tasks.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for precise measurements and cuts.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in heavy lifting as required during the construction process.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in carpentry techniques with experience in flooring installation and concrete finishing.
- Ability to weld and restore wooden structures as needed.
- Strong skills in caulking and sealing to ensure durability of installations.
- Experience with heavy lifting and operation of heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage for carpentry tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

- Dartmouth, NS B2Y 1K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
