**Store Manager, Mottola Grocery**

Mottola Grocery is looking for an experienced, creative, innovative and passionate leader to participate in and contribute to an amazing organization and culture with our team in an exceptional boutique grocery environment at True North Square in downtown Winnipeg.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the grocery, including customer service, inventory management, team member supervision, and financial performance. The Store Manager should demonstrate the following accountabilities:

- Effective and sincere leadership skills and vision desired in order to participate with management in continued strategies for operational improvements and the development, innovation and constant evolution of grocery concepts and brands within the Winnipeg marketplace.
- Genuine relationship skills committed to outstanding customer service and employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Innovate and recommend on constant improvement of management and training systems for optimal grocery performance.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust inventory levels and ordering accordingly.
- Execute and implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales and profits.
- Analyze and identify cost saving opportunities including waste and shrinkage.
- Execute events both on-site and remote, in conjunction with the Manager of Events &
Catering and Executive Chef.
- Create and foster relationships with vendors.
- Create Staff schedule.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in an equivalent position, preferably in a retail environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Demonstrate commitment to an exceptional customer experience.
- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to innovate and problem solve.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Point of Sale (Givex or similar) and inventory management software

(Optimum or similar) is considered an asset.
- Committed to working a flexible schedule.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, and high-volume environment.
- Exceptional analytical and decision making skills with a high attention to detail.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)
- Night Shift (preferred)
