Edmonton, Canada Casawise Property Management Full time

The Rental Specialist is responsible for actively promoting and leasing available rental properties to prospective tenants. This position involves responding to prospect inquiries, conducting property showings, and guiding applicants through the rental process. The Rental Specialist plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and delivering excellent customer service to both tenants and property owners.

The full-time hours for this position are Tuesday through Saturday from 11AM-7PM. Flexible hours on the first and last day of the month is required to conduct move inspections. This position would be a hybrid of working in our office in Summerside, SW Edmonton and on-site at our rental properties.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Prospect inquiries**: Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants through our lead management software (ShowMojo.) Provide detailed information about the available properties, rental terms, and process.
- **Property showings**: Schedule and conduct property tours for interested applicants. Showcase the features and amenities of each property, answer questions, and address any concerns potential tenants may have.
- **Perform move in/out inspections**: Ensure move in/ out inspections are done to the highest standard & professional manner noting required cleaning and repairs on the move in/out report.
- **Property marketing**: Provide feedback and collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to create strategies to promote available rental units.
- **Coordinate and provide access** to units as required including access to appraisers for property valuation, access to utilities companies, etc.
- **Posting of notices at rental units**: Includes eviction, inspection, and appraisal notices.
- **Monitoring of vacant units**: Visit vacant units that are to be monitored by Casawise to ensure there are no maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
- Support the team with special projects.
- Attend weekly Casawise team meeting.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or real estate is beneficial but not required, as this position would provide the necessary training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, property owners, and colleagues.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to attract and convert potential tenants.

Organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage leasing documentation and administrative tasks.
