We are currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic work environment. Reporting to the Metal Department supervisor, the Press Brake Operator will be responsible for operating and managing our press brake machine, which shapes and bends metal plates and sheets used in our manufacturing processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You will work closely with our manufacturing team to ensure that all parts meet our specifications and production deadlines.

- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently to bend, notch, punch, form rolls, arc, or straighten metal plates and sheet metal according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand the specifications and requirements of the products being manufactured.
- Set up and adjust the press brake machine, including selecting, positioning, and securing dies, as well as setting the correct pressure and angles for the operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machinery, including lubrication and cleaning, to ensure it operates at peak efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for compliance with specifications, using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct any issues or defects in the materials or the machinery operation.
- Work with the production team to meet deadlines and productivity targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in training and safety programs to enhance job performance and knowledge of machine operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
- Knowledge of press brake machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**:

- Certification in press brake operation or related field.
- Experience with CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) press brakes.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
The role requires working in a manufacturing plant environment, which may include exposure to loud noises, machinery, and dust.

Safety gear and training will be provided to ensure the health and safety of all our employees.

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, according to the production schedule needs. This position requires a willingness to adapt to changing schedules to meet operational requirements and ensure continuous production.
