**Responsibilities**:
The Machinist is responsible for completing a variety of machining tasks. This includes but is not limited to machining bus components and frames, specialty tool fabrication and other equipment and component repair/fabrication.
**Qualifications**:
Red Seal Certification as a Machinist, experienced in operating manual lathes, milling machines, grinders and various other manual or computer controlled machines.
Minimum of five (5) years recent machining experience in a fleet maintenance or related industry.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
Experience interpreting blue prints, specifications and engineering drawings
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
Must be able to work to close tolerances
Must be able to Magnifluxing parts for cracks
Work with mínimal supervision and perform work at other garages
**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $50.94 per hour
