Professional Intern

Birchwood has an immediate opportunity for a Business Analyst Intern who will be part of our Service department and responsible for developing best practices for Customer Service, process mapping, and developing internal controls. Birchwood is looking for an individual with a keen eye for attention to detail and someone who is not afraid to take the lead on ongoing projects.
**What you will do**:
o Supporting the Service Department in researching, analyzing, and presenting customer service data
o Assisting the team to create process maps and establishing best practices in the service department
o Provide accurate and consistent weekly and monthly performance reports.
o Improving performance management reporting for service and parts departments
o Integrating Service and Parts Department procurement and sales operations
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Knowledge & Experience**
o Basic Accounting knowledge
o Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college
o Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Accounting is considered an asset
o Interest in pursuing a career in business/data analysis, or operations management
o Experience with Dealer Management Systems (CDK) is considered an asset
o Knowledge of dealership operations is considered an asset
**Personal Attributes**
o High attention to detail, and proven time management skills.
o Exceptional communication skills (in person, on the phone, and written) & ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
o Valid driver's license and own transportation to work is required
