As part of an interdisciplinary team treating clients who experienced a traumatic or cumulative psychological injury or brain injury in the workplace, or who are dealing with persistent pain as a result of their workplace injury, this position is responsible for providing treatment recommendations, providing psychological work restrictions, identifying and addressing a client’s psychological barriers to return to work and/or providing psycho-education to clients to help assist with the return-to-work process. We are currently seeking individuals with a clinical, counselling or rehabilitation psychology background and experience with evidence-based treatment of trauma.

Your responsibilities:

- Delivering psychological services as part of an interdisciplinary team primarily focused on injured workers suffering from traumatic and/or cumulative psychological injuries, with the potential to provide services to workers who sustained a brain injury or who continue to experience persistent pain
- Completing psychological screens and treatment to enhance our clients’ abilities to return to work.
- Facilitating psychology groups and conducting relaxation training classes to reduce the impact of disability related issues.
- Mentoring undergraduate psychology interns and supervising psychology residents.
- Assisting with program development as required.
- Collaborating with psychology peers to ensure best practice as required.
- Ability to work a 0.6 FPE during business hours.

Your experience and skills:

- Completion of a Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Completion of an internship from a Canadian Psychological Association accredited facility or equivalent.
- Experience in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation setting involving the assessment and treatment of a variety of disorders and experience providing psychological services and experience in the treatment of clients with trauma is required.
- Training and experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,
- Cognitive Processing Therapy
(CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy is an asset.

**Salary**: Grade H7 - $49.88 to $64.92 per hour
