We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional patient experience
and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. If you have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you.

first touch point with the clinic (i.e the face of the office). This is a fast-paced position that will often require you to juggle several crucial tasks efficiently while maintaining patient interaction in the office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Interaction**: Warmly greet and welcome patients, creating a positive first impression and addressing their needs and concerns with empathy.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Manage phone calls and schedule appointments to maintain an efficient flow of patients.
- **Schedule Management**: Fill up the office’s schedule with appointments on a daily basis, manage and coordinate the hygienists’ & dentists’ office ensuring optimal office productivity
- **Insurance and Billing**: Verify insurance details, assist with billing processes, and manage claims using Dentrix software.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain and update patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
- **Team Coordination**: Work closely with dental staff to ensure smooth operations and provide necessary support.
- **Customer Service**: Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- **Hygiene Maintenance**: Keep the reception area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- **Multitasking**: Efficiently manage multiple tasks, such as handling insurance calls, booking appointments, and providing clear directions to walk-in patients all while

maintaining a calm and professional demeanor and patient interaction

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Must have previous experience in an administrative or front desk related role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting. Experience with Dentrix software is highly preferred.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members, ideally significant previous customer service experience.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software (Dentrix), Gmail, and general technological proficiency.
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- **Customer Service Orientation**: You have an energetic and outgoing personality with a passion for helping those around you and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- **Proactive Approach**: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in addressing tasks and challenges.
