Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Ensuring access control is followed and client property is secured, escorting visitors as required
- Working knowledge of CCTV equipment
- Working knowledge of Keyscan
- Completing shipping and receiving duties when required
- Maintaining positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors, and clients
- Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and deportment and ensure their team is meeting the same expected standards
- Responding to alarms and utilization of alarm panels
- Aiding employees, clients, and visitors
- Completing daily logs and written reports as necessary and ensure they are done correctly and timely
- Report all Incidents and Occurrences to the Account Supervisor Other duties as may be required by the client or Account Supervisor

- Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00
- Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 1515 to 0000 hrs, Friday 1415 to 2130 hrs
- Location: 550 Petrolia Rd, North York, Ontario
