Security Supervisor

**Securiguard** is a different kind of company. Good work is recognized and rewarded We never hold anyone back from promotions and opportunities. We are currently seeking to hire a Security Supervisor for a high-profile site in Toronto.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate security staff activities to maintain a safe and secure environment within the commercial tower.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular patrols of the building, monitoring surveillance systems and responding promptly to any security incidents or breaches.
- Provide leadership and support to security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Liaise with tenants, building management, and law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns and maintain effective communication channels.
- Prepare incident reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all security-related records.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR
- Must have at least 1 year supervisor experience, in addition to security experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
- Should be able and willing to work/commute to Toronto.
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in using security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems and access control systems.

**Pay Rate**: $19.38 per hour.
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 0800-1600
