**Responsibilities**:

- PLC configuration, design, testing, implementation, and optimization.
- Commissioning support, loop checks, HMI checks.
- Technical support during shutdown and maintenance activities.

**Qualifications include, but not limited to**:

- Instrumentation Engineering Technologist Diploma or B.Sc. in Systems Engineering, Process or Electrical Engineering (emphasis on Process Control would be an asset
- Advance experience with programming Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, and Triconex Trident PLCs
- Experience with control narrative development/review/redlines
- Preference for knowledge of Petrochemical plant operations/processes
- Experience with Management of Change and project deliverables
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- EDMONTON, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
