Job Summary:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Planning and Turnaround, you will effectively plan and schedule all turnaround work as well as routine and non-routine work at the Courtright site.

What you’ll do:

- Work closely with the Planning Supervisor & Turnaround Superintendent to plan, schedule and implement site work performed for outage and turnaround purposes;
- Develop detailed job plans & obtain cost estimates for work orders;
- Support core Turnaround activities through the development and revision of auto generated work plans
- Focus on planning turnaround work orders related to fixed equipment (ie. pressure vessels, boilers, furnances, heat exchangers, piping & valves);
- Enhance a work file structure while utililizing the corporate turnaround model;
- Develop detailed turnaround execution schedules including all operational, execution & return to service tasks;
- Prepare budgets & manage small contracts;
- Obtain a comprehensive knowledge of the plant processes specifically as it relates to work and contractors;
- Assist with overseeing and providing guidance to turnaround contract planners and schedulers;
- Develop an orderly flow of the work order system ensuring all planned work is completed efficiently;
- Work with the Engineering Department to assist with planning & scheduling project work;
- Maintain a detailed planned shutdown and turnaround work list for all trades;
- Work with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers as required to order all non-stock parts and materials required to complete any given task;
- Maintain complete work records, such as Bills of Material, specification sheets and quotes, within the electronic maintenance management system;
- Maintain a strong emphasis on safety through safe work practices and procedures in all work activities and extending this focus to all job plans;
- Ensure that employees and contractors are made aware of any hazards that they may encounter during the execution of planned work;
- Provide strong technical & problem solving skills to meet the needs of the operating units;
- Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with CF standards, site practices, procedures & applicable legislation.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent;
- 5-10 years working experience in a planning/scheduling role in an industrial chemical setting;
- Previous turnaround and outage planning and scheduling experience;
- Good understanding of fixed equipment (ie. pressure vessels, boilers, furnances, heat exchangers, piping and valves);
- Must work well independently with
