This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintenance.

**Duties**
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic inspections, routine maintenance, and preventive care on equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic tools and equipment.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace by adhering to company safety standards.
- Maintain records of work performed and parts used for repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in training sessions to learn about equipment, safety procedures, and best practices in maintenance.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and repair requirements.
- Welding, Plumbing, or other Trade experience is seen as an asset but not required
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working hands-on with machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and take initiative when needed.
- Reliable and persistent with a desire to develop new skills and advance within the maintenance field.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus, but training will be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal post-secondary education required.
- Physical ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
