**Pickard Construction** is a privately owned company with multiple offices across Ontario. Operating since 1979, we specialize in utility construction in the telecommunications and hydro infrastructure fields. We offer a wide range of services including but not limited to Directional Drilling, Plowing, Line Construction, Rock drilling and Fiber splicing.

We have an immediate opening for a Lineman in the North Bay Branch. You will be responsible for constructing new or adding aerial fibre builds for various leading telecommunications companies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform outside plant aerial line construction of fibre optic distribution networks by using cable lashing machines, bucket trucks, ladders and other climbing and lineman equipment
- Work with project coordinators to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Organize and plan activities as detailed on work orders and meet schedules

**Requirements**:

- **Experience prefered but willing train for this exciting opportunity**:

- 1-3 Years lineman experience in a telecommunications environment
- 1-3 Years operating bucket truck and using climbing equipment
- Experienced at using aerial lashing equipment
- Ability to work 50 hour work week in outdoor conditions
- Hold valid G or (DZ Prefered) Driver’s Licence and Clean Drivers Abstract

Pickard offers a competitive salary in a unionized environment, and health benefits which adds to the overall hourly rate making it $34-$37 Per Hour

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
