A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Programs range from primary care to acute care to community care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

**About the role - Reporting to the Manager, Community Care**:
The work of eHealth is accomplished through strategic planning, procurement, implementation, ownership, operation and management of the Saskatchewan Electronic Health Record as well as associated provincial components and infrastructure. eHealth’s role is two-fold: (1) Lead Saskatchewan’s efforts and investments toward building an electronic health record for each resident and (2) coordinate, operate and maintain other selected IT systems on behalf of healthcare delivery organizations in the province.

To put these solutions in place, we are looking for a highly skilled business analyst with a team player attitude and customer focus who takes pride in knowing the work they do has a direct impact on the lives of patients, their families and our community. The type of work will vary every day, but will revolve primarily around documenting business processes and requirements, and specifications including providing support and training for technology solutions.

**Looking for**:

- Database concepts, theories and principles
- Requirements analysis and solution design principles
- Health sector related business knowledge
- Writing a variety of technical material (user and systems requirements)
- A strong technical background, experience with facilitation and training
- ITIL Certification is considered an asset.

The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related area of study. An IIBA Certification in Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA); or certification from an equivalent program will also be accepted in addition to or in replace of the above requirements. In addition to educational requirements, you will have at least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst with at least one of those years within an integrated IT/Health support environment. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training would be considered.
