**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain effective relationships with all security department personal through clear communication addressing inquiries in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Communicate to management personnel regarding issues and or situations occurring within the facility, via both written and verbal communication methods.
- Represent company to client, staff, and public in a professional manner.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and verify residents and visitors proper id.
- Respond to medical emergencies to provide first aid, CPR or a support as needed until medical personnel arrive.
- Assign staff work schedules with flexibility to account for schedule changes.
- Co-ordinate, assign, review, and report on team work performance to management.
- Function as a trainer to new security guards for facility familiarization, policy understanding and compliance.
- Develop the security plan defining security strategy.
- Ensure that CCTV systems are professionally,effectively and sensitively monitored in compliance with relevant procedures.
- Instruct new security guards about patrol routes and explain the proper procedures for handling personnel during emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Keep abreast of new technologies in security services.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Implement strategies to ensure the physical safety of employees and visitors.
- Ensure the security of company property and assets.
- Maintain communication with Management by keeping cellphone on and available for off-duty emergency calls and communications.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a security supervisor.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in loss prevention.
- Valid security guard license.
- Diploma with Security guard training.
- Excellent knowledge in public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Excellent Surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in Law Enforcement would be an added advantage.
