As a member of the Business Support Team, the Cleaner will maintain the organization & cleanliness of the Guelph CHC buildings. You will take pride in your work to assist in making the Guelph CHC as welcoming place for clients, staff, tenants and the community.

**PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES**
- Follow strict standards for safety, cleanliness and overall appeal.
- Work closely with cleaning team on scheduling and coordinating cleaning
- Ensure cleaning is done in a satisfactory way for staff, clients and guests of the building
- Help ensure building is in working order, including notifying the coordinator of occurring deficiencies or things in need of repair

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Proven working experience as a cleaner, with experience in a health care setting an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience working with biological hazards and Personal Protection Equipment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to complete tasks in timely manner
- Flexibility, integrity and attentiveness to detail
- Problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in an environment of continuous quality improvement
- Cooperative team player
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) details, and health and safety internal responsibility processes
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
