The MSR Supervisor reports directly to the Member Experience Leader, and provides direction and supervision to a team of MSRs. You will provide technical direction, resolve complex problems and member concerns as referred by your team. With strong leadership and development skills you will grow the branch deposit portfolio, supporting branch sales operations, and supporting the development of profitable growth throughout the branch network are key focus areas for the role.

**Essential Duties**

Member Service
- Partner on the development of the credit union services strategy in conjunction with credit union leadership, including regular review & development, definition of the key metrics and alignment of focus areas.
- Responsible for removing obstacles to customer satisfaction and / or financial performance for the member service team.
- Provides advice and training to member service - driving a sales and service culture.
- Acts as a key resource to the member service team including helping to resolve complex issues ensuring resolution.
- Strong understanding of branch security
- Manage vault duties compliance and control regulations.
- Quarterly and annual performance reviews with MSRs

Employee Leadership
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including collaborating on successful new employee onboarding.
- Provide ongoing career development planning and opportunities.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
- Foster a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall Credit Union goals and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the Credit Union.
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
- Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations and time off, cover for absenteeism, and scheduling.
- Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate credit union information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and written communication.

**Position Requirements** Education and Experience
- Understanding and adherence to the Privacy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Terrorist Financing Act, the Credit Union Act and Credit Union Loan Policies.
- Solid understanding of issues in the financial services sector, including, but not limited to, credit union governance, legislative requirements and responsibilities and risk management.
- Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of 2 years Leadership Experience, Financial Industry Experience considered an asset.

**Salary**: $47,211.00-$57,786.00 per year
