This is a temporary 12-month contract

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Support the implementation of a strategic framework for IT controls, developing ITSM controls aligned with industry best practices and industry frameworks (such as ITIL, COBIT, COSO, NIST).
- Ensure that ITSM controls are developed with appropriate measures (CSFs and KPIs) and reporting mechanisms, in order to validate that control objectives are being met.
- Coordinate and participate in the review and analysis of the adequacy of internal operating controls and risk management activities.
- Exercise judgment and professional knowledge in testing internal controls outcomes and assessing compliance with standards and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between IT Controls and auditors (internal and external), supporting the identification and preparation of evidence in accordance with control objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to a diverse community of stakeholders to enhance organizational understanding of controls and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with operation/project teams and leadership to support efforts in assessing compliance risks, operational requirements, and evidence capture.
- Utilize data analytics techniques to derive compliance metrics, monitor for trends, and identify potential root causes of trends.
- Prepare comprehensive scheduled and ad-hoc compliance reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting compliance achievements, areas of concern, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- University degree or diploma in a technical, IT audit, business analysis, or risk management discipline is required.
- A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in leveraging industry best practices across IT disciplines such as IT Service Management, IT Risk Management, IT Audit and Compliance, Process Improvement or Business Analysis.
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT Service Management controls.
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in assessing controls and business process risk.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing data, to support effective analysis, while leveraging tools such as relational databases and intermediate Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both business and technical teams.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage several conflicting, priority tasks simultaneously with mínimal supervision.
- Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to pay persistent attention to detail while maintaining an overall view of the big picture.
- Decision-making ability and demonstrated leadership potential is necessary.
- ITIL, COBIT, CIA, CISA, or CRISC Certification would be an asset
