**Your role**:
In addition to performing all requirements of a Quality Pharmacist/Registered Pharmacy Technician at CIVA, the Release Team Lead will manage the flow and prioritization of daily production within the Release team including scheduling and re-allocating team resources as required, and will coach, develop and mentor direct reports to achieve high performance.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Perform order entry and review, verification and checks during the admixing process.
- Perform final Quality release of products.
- Provide appropriate product disposition in a timely manner.
- Ensure deviations (NCR, PQI) are dispositioned prior to completion of batch release.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations Management to assess quality risk and address compliance gaps.
- Update/approve Finished Product bill of materials and component/part setups where required.
- Maintain audit-ready state and host/participate in internal and external audits.
- Review, summarize and incorporate information from pharmaceutical literature related to compounded products as needed and support new product development.
- Ensure correct BUD is assigned for CIVA offerings. Perform Stability Assessments as required
- Support in resolution of daily operational issues and provide appropriate admixed product disposition in a timely manner.
- Act as a communication/escalation conduit for the Release team by attending the CIVA daily escalation meeting.
- Provide Quality oversight of for operational functions
- Co-ordinate workflow and assist other staff members where needed.
- Ensure that Pharmacist schedule and capacity meets business demand.
- Coach, develop and mentor team to achieve high performance
- Facilitate regular ACE check-ins with direct reports
- Manage payroll and scheduling of all direct reports
- Manage Development and Goal planning for all direct reports
**What you have**:
- B.Sc and OCP Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of USP
, NAPRA guidelines, and aseptic compounding
- 3-4 years work experience in Pharma/ cleanroom environment and 2+ years as a people leader
- Excellent teamwork and the ability to coach and motivate others
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
