- Reporting to the Training, OHS and HR Manager, the incumbent's main responsibilities will be to manage the mentoring program for new technicians 0-2 years and to follow up on this program with managers and branch directors. The incumbent will be the corporate resource for the successful implementation of the technician mentoring program while providing support to the service department managers and mentors. The incumbent will be an attentive ear to the technicians in order to understand their challenges and issues and will be the link between the various levels (technicians, mentors, managers, and the corporate team). He will develop different programs or training for the development of technicians via the classification grids. He will be the main resource for all mentors while playing an important role in the integration and retention of new technicians.

**The Technician Integration Coordinator can be based in one of our branches on the North or South Shores of Montreal, or in the Eastern Townships.**

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Follow up on the progress of new technicians through the classification grids, learning logbook and the John Deere certification program;
- Provide assistance to mentors to ensure that the skills / abilities of the classification grids are practiced until they are acquired.
- Follow up on administrative files related to the mentoring program and training in general, in collaboration with the Training Manager (enrollment of mentors and apprentices in the Workplace Apprenticeship Program, assignment of John Deere University training paths, updating of training matrices, updating of the training calendar, etc.);
- All other types of tasks related to training/coaching.

**Education/experience**:

- Bilingualism in spoken and written French-English, essential;
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills;
- Autonomy, sense of organization and able to coordinate several requests simultaneously;
- Ability to travel throughout the 16 branches on a regular basis;
- Very good skills required with computer tools;
- Basic technical mechanical knowledge, essential.
