Are you an experienced and dedicated **Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach** looking for an opportunity to coach in the beautiful Rocky Mountains? We are searching for an outstanding coach to join our team. CIGC is a not-for-profit gymnastics club governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director. We are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Canmore, Alberta, a town of about 15,000 residents, and currently provide gymnastics training to approximately 500 athletes in competitive and recreational streams. Our club offers Women’s Artistic Gymnastics as well as Recreational programs from preschool to adult ages. Specialty programs like parkour and trampoline are also part of our program offerings. We employ between 15 and 20 coaches on a yearly basis, and provide services out of a 11,000 square foot fully equipped gymnastics gymnasium in the Canmore Recreation Centre. We pride ourselves on providing our athletes a safe and positive gymnastics experience. Canmore is an active, athletic community and our membership spans throughout the Bow Valley Corridor.

**Job Summary**:
In this position you will be assigned coaching hours for the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Program under the direction of the WAG Director. You will develop training plans focusing on each athlete’s individual needs as well as liaise with members in a professional manner. You will create a positive and focused training environment that encourages athletes to reach their highest potential. In addition to coaching duties, you will also have planning, communication, and community event participation roles.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Competition Introduction Advanced (C2) or Competition Development (C3) Certified
- Minimum 5 years of competitive gymnastics coaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the CPP/JO Program
- Team Oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Post secondary education in Kinesiology or Physical Education is considered an asset
