**About Treaty Three Police Service**

**Treaty Three Police Service requires one (1) permanent full-time Strategic Analyst, based in Kenora, ON.**

The Strategic Analyst supports the Treaty Three Police Service’s (T3PS) mission of providing culturally sensitive policing services. The role involves conducting tactical and strategic crime analysis related to local and regional crime trends. This includes establishing priorities for investigations, crime prevention strategies, traffic issues, and community mobilization programs. The analyst develops and maintains relationships with internal and external agencies for intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination.

**Requirements for this position**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be of good moral character with no criminal record for which a records suspension (pardon) has notbeen received or an absolute/conditional discharge that has not been sealed
- Valid G License with a clean driving record
- Law enforcement experience an asset
- In-depth knowledge of property crimes, traffic, crimes against persons, and crime abatement
- Proficiency in criminal investigations, intelligence, and case management
- Strong analytical skills in crime data collection, evaluation, and reporting
- Expertise in multi-jurisdictional operational, tactical, and strategic analysis
- Ability to plan and prepare cross-jurisdictional summary analyses
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for analysis and presentations

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze data and intelligence on criminals, crime groups, and trends, providing Detachment management with insights and strategy recommendations
- Develop processes for collecting and synthesizing intelligence, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions
- Conduct quarterly assessments and compile RMS reports; submit annual statistics to Statistics Canada
- Maintain contacts with law enforcement and community sources to share crime trend information
- Monitor crime patterns biweekly, communicate findings, and participate in Command meetings
- Travel as needed for investigations

Pay: $45.85-$57.55 per hour
