Finance and Payroll Clerk

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented women to join our team as Finance and Payroll Clerk. The Finance and Payroll Clerk reports to the Executive Director to manage the daily financial operations for Three Oaks Foundation. The Finance & Payroll Clerk works in collaboration with the Executive Assistant.

**Payroll Responsibilities**:

- Administration and processing of bi-weekly payroll in accordance with the collective agreement, agency policies, and all federal and provincial regulations in an accurate and timely manner
- Creating reports and making remittance to CRA, WSIB and EHT
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial regulations

**Finance Responsibilities**:

- Payment Processing
- Reconciliation of supplier and contractor statements with invoice documentation
- Communication with suppliers/contractors regarding all matters relating to accounts payable.
- Maintenance of accounts receivable records
- Invoices for service rendered, completed project work, records payment received
- Follow up on outstanding invoices for payments

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Post-Secondary Education in bookkeeping or finance.
- Demonstrated commitment to women’s issues and the anti-violence movement
- Proficiency with payroll software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Applications is a strong asset
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data effectively
- Proven administration/organizational skills
- Strong analytical program evaluation, problem-solving skill and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working within a unionized environment a strong asset
- Valid Drivers license and use of a vehicle

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
