Apprentice Technician

**Job description**

Kentville Toyota is looking for an **Apprentice Technician** to join our team. We’re an evolving company that provides safe and reliable vehicles to people in surrounding communities.

Role Responsibilities:

- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Learn to operate and maintain equipment used in automotive repair
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

Here’s what we need from you:

- Valid Driver's License and a clean Driver Abstract
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on your own or with a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to accurately document repair steps

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kentville, NS B4N 5H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- automotive repair: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
