**SUMMARY**:
Sales Clerk is responsible for providing sales and customer service to Members and Guests relating at the Pro Shop & Chandlery which sells apparel, sailing & boating equipment, and much more.

This individual will report to the Pro Shop & Chandlery Supervisor and have superior customer service skills and be able to assist with purchases, stocking, and supplies.

**DUTIES**:

- Provide excellent customer service instore and over the phone, including making sales, answering customer questions,
- Maintain the store, including stocking of merchandise, cleaning the store and merchandise, maintenance and setup of visual merchandising.
- Process customer transaction, including returns, exchanges, opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with product receiving, pricing, and daily restocking of merchandise.
- Pump fuel for Guests and Member boats.
- Sign out bikes, stand up paddle boards, and canoes.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- An energetic “People Person” who loves a bustling environment
- Is organized and can follow processes and procedures
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of sailing/boating is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, and climb stairs.
- Be able to lift to 25 lbs.

***HOURS OF WORK**:

- Seasonal Part time position - 25 - 40 hours per week depending on availability
- Able to work outdoors
- Able to work shifts (day/afternoon/evening)
- Able to work weekends and Holidays shifts
