Location: Module Yard / FST Conversion Yard / LNG Site
Schedule: 12 days on, 7 days off, with an estimated 10 hours/day - Start Date: 2/4/2025 | End Date:12/22/2026
Accommodations: Floatel or in-town apartment provided
Travel Reimbursement: 10 hours per travel day + mileage at $0.59/km.

**Reporting to the Lead Inspector, the Mechanical Inspector will be expected to proactively monitor all aspects of the mechanical installation work at the work location**:
**Requirements**:

- Detailed understanding of applicable Canadian and international codes and standards
- Demonstrable competency and understanding of mechanical equipment (earthwork and concrete) construction methods
- Working understanding of project execution, construction and completion practices
- Working Knowledge of:

- API, ASME, AWS, ASTM, and ISO-9001 Quality Systems
- Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagram/Drawings (P&ID’s installation standards, etc.)
- Rotating & Static equipment installation process and procedures
- Welding processes and NDE techniques including evaluation Methods
- Quality programs and processes
- Read, write and speak fluent English

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Attendance to Company witness & hold points on Contractors ITP
- QA surveillance of contractor’s adherence to contractual requirements of mechanical equipment installations and completions at facilities site
- Complete field level risk assessments.
- Interface with Construction and monitor contractors’ mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities (rotating equipment cold/hot alignments)
- Conduct walk downs as required representing the Mechanical commissioning discipline
- Completion of approved commissioning check sheets.
- Assist vendor representatives and site operations in commissioning and start up activities
- Create and execute Mechanical commissioning packages
- Adhere to standards of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) requirements; takes reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Follows and maintains Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
- Audit DCC on inspection records, contractors ITP and adherence to contractors Quality Plan
- Sign off mechanical discipline inspection test records, contractors ITP and adherence to contractors Quality Plan

**Weekly/Monthly Deliverables**
- Maintain daily log of inspection activities
- Produce relevant field quality control (QC) inspection reports
- Provide quality metrics and input to weekly quality report to Lead Inspector
