We are seeking two individuals for the position of Electromechanical service technician with experience in the machine manufacturing and installations. **Must be able to travel to the United States.**

An electromechanical technician will use his/her technical expertise and judgement to provide the utmost customer satisfaction in installations and repairs of machinery in the reinforcing steel industry. This position provides support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment, diagnoses electrical/mechanical/hydraulic problems, determines how to repair/resolve in a timely manner to minimize customer downtime.

**Responsibilities**:
Travel to install new equipment and service older equipment North America wide with majority travel to the USA

Build electrical panels, wire, test and perform start ups of new machinery

Tear apart and refurbish older machinery

Read blueprints, schematics or diagrams to wire panels or for troubleshooting purposes

Communicate with customers for troubleshooting

Taking parts orders and managing parts shipments

Record and Input documentation

Assist with onsite operation training.

Adheres to company policies and procedures

Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to travel abroad, must have clean driving record

Must have experience with AC/DC controls

Must have a strong background in industrial controls and extensive mechanical skills

Hands on experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings pneumatics/hydraulics

Personal vehicle use required, if business needs dictate (mileage compensated)

Must possess effective oral and written communication skills

Fluent in English, Bilingual an asset

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
