Cambridge, Canada ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. Full time

MAJOR DUTIES:
The individual will be responsible for ensuring parts are picked using a mobile scanner, staging and kitting in the warehouse. Other duties will include servicing customer pick-ups and the receiving of goods into our Material Replenishment system (MRP/J.D. Edwards). Working safely and ensuring the warehouse is clean and all equipment is in proper working order.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adheres to procedures for verification of products received and shipped to ensure accuracy of counts, product received/shipped in good condition and expedient disposition of goods from the dock.
- Organizes products in clearly labeled aisles for easy identification and proper materials glow given FIFO rules.
- Co-ordinates incoming and outgoing transport to ensure timely movement of materials.
- Maintains operation of all materials handling equipment in safe condition in accordance with Plant and Health & Safety rules.
- Maintains a high degree of housekeeping in assigned areas as well as equipment provided.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Warehouse- Stock inventory shelves, perform stock transfers and generally maintain orderly inventory locations.
- Perform cycle counts and advise on stock levels while monitoring stock programs.
- Evaluate and supervise vendor managed inventories.
- Issue parts to personnel and cost centers as needed.
- Distribute parts throughout the facility.
- Receiving- Ensures accurate receipt of materials and products in good condition.
- Ensures all product received is as ordered and specified for delivery address, quantity and condition.
- Accurate storage of materials in assigned locations.
- Completes J.D. Edwards receiving processes for received product and processes associated paperwork promptly.
- Shipping- Product labeling and master packing.
- Accurate and secure storage of materials in location
- Load and unload of trucks as required using specified equipment and safety devices.
- Maintains supplies of shipping materials.
- Maintains professional attitude in dealing with internal and external services.
- Create invoices and packing slips using J.D. Edwards System.

**Additional Information**:
**Education**:
A grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

**Experience**:
Three years of Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing experience in high volume manufacturing environment. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be capable of understanding and following quality systems documentation.
