**Program Team Supervisor**

**The Position**:
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Professional Communication**:

- Communicate professionally with staff, clients, co-workers, and community partners through in-person meetings and various virtual tools.
- Uses a strength-based approach with staff and program participants.

**2. Program Delivery/ Supervision**:

- Creating team schedules and delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Continuously monitoring employee performance and identifying areas of improvement.
- Collaborating with employees on the team to establish goals and objectives ensuring they are in line with the organization’s goals.
- Assessing employee performance and providing performance reviews to managers.
- Ensuring team members meet deadlines for key projects and tasks.
- Addressing any concerns or issues identified by team members.
- Planning and chairing team meetings.
- Approving expenditures for clients, client placements and employee timesheets.
- Guide employees and provide instructions to perform daily tasks.
- Collaborate with community partners, utilizing a wraparound approach.
- Monitor progress of programs to ensure we are meeting Service Quality Standards or other targets provided by funders.
- Revise or develop processes as necessary to ensure success.
- Complete some tasks assigned to the Employment Specialist, Workshop Facilitator and/or Job Developer job descriptions as applicable.

**3. HR Support**:

- Provide training and oversee the orientation of new employees to get them up to speed on the policies and procedures within the team and the organization.

**Working Conditions**:

- May be required to travel to other offices, community partner or workshop sites.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computer, laptop computers and audiovisual equipment.
- Daytime, evening, and some weekend work may be required.
- Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, and lifting.

**Other**:

- Effectively use MS Office Suite.
- Experience using case management software.
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Verification of full vaccination for COVID-19**.**

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary Education in Social Services, Human Resources, Management or Leadership.
- Proven experience in Employment Services field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
