Alwington Communities Superintendent

The Condominium Superintendent is responsible for creating a high level of resident and community satisfaction by providing timely repair services and maintaining tidy grounds at the designated property in a safe and efficient manner. The team member is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their building, handling almost all aspects. The Superintendent will be responsible from tasks ranging from administrative, to housekeeping and repairs. The Condominium Superintendent should be cool, caring and driven to big things; always representing the company’s best interest, maintaining positive and professional interactions, and adhering to Core Values and Behaviours

A Day in the Life
- Keeping the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building through regular inspections
- Completing all necessary repairs and maintenance to maintain the buildings appearance
- Perform or arrange for general repairs when necessary.
- Supervising all outside contractors when necessary.
- Ensuring cleanliness of common areas & corridors
- General house-keeping duties (daily sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.) of
- main entrances/lobbies and elevators and other common areas.
- Log and complete incoming work orders in an efficient and timely manner
- Supervision of move-ins, move-outs and deliveries
- Maintain positive relationships with residents and contractors
- Ensure resident safety is maintained at all times
- Respond appropriately to any emergencies within the building
- Perform regular interior and exterior inspections of the property to identify and report on any required repairs.
- Maintain and care for company provided equipment
- Maintaining the garbage room as needed
- Monitoring the exterior of the building, as well as the interior.
- Corresponding with any owners or residents as needed.
