TEMPO School is looking for a full-time Maintenance/Handyperson to do general maintenance and repair work for a school complex in southwest Edmonton.

The responsibilities include:
Preparing the parking lot pylons for morning arrival

Ongoing day-to-day operation and maintenance of building (minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)

Ensure mechanical, electrical and other systems are in working order

Changing fluorescent lights

Small touch-up painting jobs

Coordinate with contractors and trades for building maintenance

Summer lawn maintenance

Minor snow removal around doorways in winter, as remainder of the parking lot is managed under a snow removal contract

Qualifications:
Carpentry/electrical background an asset

Must be personable, reliable and detail-oriented

Previous experience is preferable

Must have personal initiative & be pro-active

Must have own transportation

Must have a clean criminal record check

Hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 2:00pm but must be available during off-hours if needed.
