**SUMMARY**:
Read and interpret engineering plans related to the work to be done in order to ensure continuity.
- Record and complete orders in the planning software.
- Measure, center, grind, and assemble grinding wheel setups.
- Program on the computer or the controller for profiling, sharpening, and reprofiling operations.
- Perform the necessary setups for various sharpening and profiling tasks.
- Transfer work from the computer to the controller and vice versa.
- Manufacture, modify, sharpen, and reprofile carbide, high-speed steel, and tangtung tools.
- Inspect and ensure the conformity of parts according to established standards.
- Pack the tools, label them, complete the order forms, and send everything to the designated locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and update data.
- Set the machine zero points.
- Square raw parts on the machine intended for that purpose.
- Set up the manual grinder and grind a retaining groove in raw inserts.
- Create chip breakers on end mills.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:
Equivalency of a diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) - Machining techniques/Precision tooling
Experience in machining and/or tooling
Other
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Good math skills Programming and planification software knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good organizational and communication skills
