Dishwasher/cleaner

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to support efficient operations.
- Ensure that all dishwashing equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help organize kitchen supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning materials.
- Support other kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure timely service.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.02-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
