SCV Waste Solutions is looking for an experienced Class 3 with air driver to join our growing team in our Salmon Arm location. The Curbside driver is responsible for driving a sideload refuse truck to pick up refuse and recycling within the local region. Must have a clean driving record.

Our drivers must operate company vehicles safely and be able to communicate professionally with team members and residents. Drivers must be able to navigate well, complete daily logbooks, and complete pre
- and post-trip inspections.

This position involves loading recycled material and can be physically strenuous; it involves lifting (up to 40lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing in and out of the truck numerous times daily, in all weather conditions.

This position is full time, Monday to Friday.

**Requirements**:

- Class 3 license with air with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must be willing to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs on a consistent basis; some pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing is required.
- Experience driving large vehicles with proven competency.
- Ability to work alone and stay on task without supervision.
- Proven ability to effectively manage your time and responsibilities.
- Provide safe, prompt, and courteous customer service.
- A positive, pleasant, and professional attitude is a must.
- Simple mechanical aptitude to assist in equipment maintenance is an asset.
- Collections and Material handling experience is considered an asset.

The starting wage for this position is $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience.
