**Job Summary**:
Quality Inn Hotel in Chatham is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the day’s transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records while providing excellent customer service to our guests during the overnight shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Nightly Audits**: Perform nightly financial audits, including reconciling and balancing all hotel accounts, posting room charges, and ensuring the accuracy of daily transactions.
- **Guest Services**: Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and assist with any guest needs or requests during the night shift.
- **Reports**: Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports for management review.
- **Security**: Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff during the overnight hours.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- **Front Desk Operations**: Manage front desk activities, including processing reservations, handling phone calls, and managing cash and credit transactions.
- **Communication**: Communicate any significant incidents or issues to the appropriate department managers and ensure smooth handover to the morning shift.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: Previous experience in hotel front desk is preferred.
- Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic accounting.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good problem-solving skills

**Technical Skills**: Familiarity with hotel management software and basic computer skills.

**Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

**Work Hours**: Availability to work the overnight shift, including weekends and holidays.
