Site Manager

**AGT Soileos** is seeking a **Site Manager** to join our facility located in Rosetown, SK.

AGT Soileos, is a joint venture between **AGT Foods** **Canada (AGT)** and **Lucent Biosciences Inc. (Lucent)**. Together we created **Soileos**, a new micronutrient fertilizer made from upcycled cellulose from the food processing industry. Our goal is to maximize the production at our Rosetown facility at the same time as ensuring our customers in the Western Canadian Agriculture community receive a superior return. **Soileos** fits perfectly with AGT and Lucent’s principles of providing a high standard of customer service, while delivering high performance agricultural inputs that drive on farm ROI, and contribute to improved sustainability of the agriculture sector.

**DUTIES**:

- Manufacture high quality fertilizer according to pre-determined specifications.
- Supervise QA/QC activities.
- Monitor systems and equipment to ensure temperature, consistency, and final product meets quality standards.
- Implement a weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting structure.
- Act as the designated trainer for staff in the basic instruction and implementation of good manufacturing practices and safe shipping procedures.
- Responsible for daily data collection and management including updating timelines, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Ensure the staff understand, and comply with, their responsibilities under the company’s Health & Safety.
- Responsible for the expenses of the facility and that it performs to budget.
- Ensure that management controls exist and are adhered to in order to implement the company’s strategy.

**EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**:
Manage and supervise staff for overall best results with advanced knowledge of facility functions such as:

- Cellulose particle resizing, blending, agglomerating, sorting
- QA/QC
- Shipping and receiving
- Inventory management
- Housekeeping and Warehousing
- R & M (equipment and facility)
- Workplace Safety
- Administration
- Reporting
