**Role Description**:
Reporting to the Operations & Constructions Manager, the HSE Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of personnel engaged in field operations and Tyrod Shop facilities. This position requires a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the Oil & Gas industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Developing and Implementing** **Safety Procedures**: Develop, implement, and continually update safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- **Risk Assessment and Mitigation**: Conduct thorough risk assessments of field operations and identify potential hazards. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
- **Training and Education**: Provide comprehensive safety training to field personnel, including proper equipment usage, emergency procedures, and hazard awareness. Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained and certified as required.
- **Safety Inspections and Audits**: Conduct regular inspections and audits of field sites to assess compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement. Document findings and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- **Supplier and Contractor Management**: Evaluate the health, safety, and environmental performance of suppliers and contractors. Establish expectations and requirements for subcontractors and monitor compliance throughout the duration of projects.
- **Incident Management**: Respond promptly to safety incidents, accidents, and near misses. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Emergency Preparedness**: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for field operations, including procedures for medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. Coordinate with local emergency services as needed.
- **Safety Communication**: Serve as a liaison between field personnel, clients and management regarding safety concerns, updates, and initiatives. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a HSE role
- Proven experience in HSE management, preferably in a field-based or industrial setting for a minimum of 2-5 years. Oil & Gas Industry preferred.
- OHS Certificate or Diploma preferred.
- NCSO or CRSP designation preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate safety information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent computer skills, ability to learn new software.
- Valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $72,700.00-$94,000.00 per year
