**Assistant Construction Manager**

Molen started in 2013 with their head office in Nova Scotia, Canada as a small team of experienced wind energy professionals. Our mission was to create a third party service company whose work reflected our passion for the renewable energy sector.

**Job Overview**:
This job is anticipated to begin later in 2024.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising wind farm construction activities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and identify any potential issues.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts, reports, and permits.
- Support the procurement process by managing materials and equipment orders.
- Maintain effective communication with all project team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in resolving any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with wind farm construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management, preferably in renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related credentials is an asset

**Job Type**: Contract
- You MUST be 18 years or older.
