**Job Overview**

Under the general supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor; the Mixer’s primary responsibility is to mix raw materials and create finished products according to the batch recipes. He/she will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality product is always produced.

**Salary**:

- $20.80 - 22.05 per hour to start with a progressive increase every 6 months

**Shifts Available**:

- Morning Shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Night Shift: 10:45pm - 7:00am (Monday to Friday)

**Location**:Multiple locations in Brampton, Woodbridge and Concord, ON.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
- Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas.
- Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment
- Accurate and timely completion of production records
- Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment
- Maintaining work area clean and free of hazards
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, as needed
- Practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

**Recipe for Success**:

- Completion of High School education or equivalent
- Previous Manufacturing experience (Food Manufacturing experience an asset)
- Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Computer competency and ability to perform simple math calculations
- Good verbal communication and understanding of written materials (SOPs, training documents)
- Able to manage multiple tasks and coordinate work with team members
