Grower Associate | Position Outline and Details

The Grower Associate position, under the direction of the Head Grower, is responsible for all processes in the growth of cannabis plants and the production of dried cannabis flower. You will assist in planning, organizing, and conducting activities in our grow rooms according to our Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs). Daily, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency and optimal plant health.

The Grower Associate will report directly to the Head Grower or designate and will have no direct reports. In the event of absence, another member of the Grow Team will provide coverage.

**Grower Associate | Job Description**
- Accountability, reliability, consistency, and adaptability.

- Responsible for following SOPs documents to accurately execute processes and procedures.
- Requires exceptional attention to detail and ideally, computer literacy.
- Assist with all stages of plant growth and dried flower production.
- Assist with other tasks such as sanitation.

**Grower Associate | Job Requirements**
- High school diploma.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check.
- Must have cannabis growing experience.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Health Canada Licensed Cultivation facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have ability to work independently and within a team environment in a fast paced environment.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, coupled with a sound mechanical aptitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail
- Ability to plan, set and achieve goals.
- Ability to research, evaluate and adapt to new methods and techniques for improvements.
- Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with all levels of the company from entry level up to management.
- Must understand how different qualities of plant material, preparation and packing procedures affect quality and yield.
- Must understand and be able to implement or use a lot number tracking system.

**Work Conditions**

This role requires a company-provided uniform and additional Personal Protective Equipment to be worn at all times.
- Manual dexterity is required.
- Must be able to work with all forms of cannabis (Live & Dry).
- Light physical effort.
- Limited natural light.
- Varying temperatures.
- Overtime as required.

**Grower Associate | Duties**
- Ensure strict compliance with all Health Canada and CRA rules and regulations.
- Follow company SOPs, protocols and policies regarding work area compliance, safety, and functionality.
- Observe and champion all health and safety policies, practices, and programs in place.
- Promote a positive atmosphere of teamwork and motivation in the workplace.
- Work towards meeting company goals around efficiency, yields, quality, and cost.
- Maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow production schedule accurately and communicate issues that would necessitate any schedule change(s) or possible down-time.
- Accurately monitor plants to ensure optimized plant health.
- Work to ensure the growth of the plants is on time and accurate.
- Monitor and be able to report daily processes and output including processed plant counts, trim weights, produced waste totals including the status of drying and curing cannabis.
- Follow Company SOPs and protocols in assisting the overall operation o
