Crew Leader

Speedy Creek Yard Maintenance And Fencing is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Hand to join our team. Position compensation to be discussed based on experience.

We are the leading Fence installation company in Swift Current.

We install Chain Link/Vinyl/Wood and Composite materials.

This is a CREW FOREMAN position, and experience is a requirement.
- Must be able to supervise & motivate a crew of 3-5 people in a way that projects are being completed efficiently and profitably. Must be able to verify provide quality control from planning stage through to completion. Will be responsible for the safety of crew. Must have the ability to safely train employees on safe working procedures with tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Must have strong communication, time management & problem solving skills, including the ability to complete and submit paperwork on a daily basis
- Must maintain a professional image in representing the company; ensure all crew members are wearing uniforms, PPE and are presentable to clients. Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients. Must be able to follow and support company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Must have own means of transportation daily
- Must have valid Class 5 drivers license
- Must be able to work over-time hours.
- Must be physically fit; have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work in all varying weather conditions
- Must be able to work and handle stressful conditions

**Duties for this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Measuring and laying out fence lines and mark post hole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications.
- Dig postholes, using spades, post hole diggers, or power-driven augers.
- Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts, or tamp soil into post holes to embed posts. Assemble gates, and fasten gates into position, using hand tools.
- Driving a Skid Steer

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
