Belleville, Canada Total Property Management Full time

The ideal person will have hands-on experience as a general carpenter with several years of experience working independently. You will be working in our client’s homes and may need to interact with clients, so you will need to have excellent people skills and the ability to work in the presence of clients and other trades.

Your skills should include: Start to finish on exterior and interior projects.Footings to painting and caulking, clean up and leave the worksite complete.

Ability to identify and solve problems effectively, such as structural issues and design challenges. Ability to manage time effectively to meet a deadline. Ability to keep a clean job site. Strong communication skills to coordinate with our project manager. Not all skills are mentioned in this job posting, we would like to discuss your experience in person to find the right fit for our projects.

Requirements include:

- Minimum of 10 years experience as a General Carpenter
- Have your own WSIB coverage
- Must have own business liability insurance
- Own a reliable vehicle, ability to commute
- Own tools and equipment kept in optimal working condition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently
- General Framing
- Good understanding of building codes, permits, safety regulations
- Ability to install doors, windows, moldings, trims etc...
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve construction-related problems effectively, such as uneven surfaces, structural issues, or design challenges.
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule that is not full-time

Typical Hours:

- Monday to Friday flexible, this is a variable position project dependant

**Experience**:

- General Carpenter: 10+ years (more preferred)

Work Location: various client jobs sites in Belleville and area, in person.
