Eiph Clerk

Looking for individuals interested in part time afternoon work at Western Fair Raceway in London, ON. EIPH Clerks are responsible for preparing the required documentation for the regulated administration of furosemide to racehorses on the EIPH Program. The EIPH clerk also oversees the medication administration, assists in horse identification, and completes the required documentation for each administration.

EIPH Clerks also receive and track payments for the administration, complete cash summaries, and distribute the completed documentation for the administrations to the appropriate authorities.

EIPH Clerks are responsible for ensuring the correct horses are administered furosemide in the prescribed timeframe. This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills.

Position opens at the beginning of October with shifts available on Monday, Tuesday and Fri starting at 1:00pm. Each shift will last approximately 5 hours depending on the number of races scheduled that day.

Qualifications:

- Comfortable working around horses
- Fluent in English; French is an asset
- Ability to read, understand and adhere to procedures and protocols
- Basic computer skills as position requires data entry, simple report preparation and printing of documentation
- Ability to process cash transactions
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be eligible to obtain a horse racing license with the applicable Provincial Regulatory Body (PRB) if required
- Must not have any affiliations or employment with individuals or organizations that would be deemed to be in conflict of interest with the organization and/or CPMA EDCP
